I honestly have had a good experience so far directly with Dr. Steele. However, getting in contact with the office is nearly IMPOSSIBLE!
The office is very strict about arrival times and cancellations—to the point that patients are required to sign documentation acknowledging that they may be charged for arriving late or missing an appointment. I completely understand having these policies in place, but there needs to be a reasonable way for patients to contact the office when something comes up.
In my case, I made an appointment just yesterday for today due to an alopecia flare-up. Unfortunately, my boss asked me to reschedule because of a high-demand situation at work.
I have been trying ALL MORNING to contact the office to reschedule. I have called multiple times and tried different extensions with absolutely no luck.
And unfortunately, this is not a one-time situation where the office may simply be unusually busy. This has been my experience consistently with the office located on SW 87th Ave. Getting someone to answer the phone is extremely difficult.
If patients are expected to follow such strict cancellation and scheduling policies, there should also be a reliable way for us to contact the office when we genuinely need assistance or need to make a change. Patients should not be penalized for failing to cancel or reschedule an appointment when they are actively trying to contact the office and cannot reach anyone.
Again, my experience directly with Dr. Steele has been good. My frustration is specifically with the inability to reach the office.
