What Our Patients Say

I honestly have had a good experience so far directly with Dr. Steele. However, getting in contact with the office is nearly IMPOSSIBLE! The office is very strict about arrival times and cancellations—to the point that patients are required to sign documentation acknowledging that they may be charged for arriving late or missing an appointment. I completely understand having these policies in place, but there needs to be a reasonable way for patients to contact the office when something comes up. In my case, I made an appointment just yesterday for today due to an alopecia flare-up. Unfortunately, my boss asked me to reschedule because of a high-demand situation at work. I have been trying ALL MORNING to contact the office to reschedule. I have called multiple times and tried different extensions with absolutely no luck. And unfortunately, this is not a one-time situation where the office may simply be unusually busy. This has been my experience consistently with the office located on SW 87th Ave. Getting someone to answer the phone is extremely difficult. If patients are expected to follow such strict cancellation and scheduling policies, there should also be a reliable way for us to contact the office when we genuinely need assistance or need to make a change. Patients should not be penalized for failing to cancel or reschedule an appointment when they are actively trying to contact the office and cannot reach anyone. Again, my experience directly with Dr. Steele has been good. My frustration is specifically with the inability to reach the office.

Has not helped at all, in fact, has made medical issues worse. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in their services. Would not pick up the phone after calling twice, only to be told they had to reschedule me when I arrived. Their only response was that they are understaffed, if so, hire more or close. Will also make you wait 40 minutes minimum to be seen and do not offer any virtual assistance. This place is a mess.

Doctors great it’s the practice itself that sucks How to make an appointment on the app after attempting to call multiple days and then continue to call after making that appointment to try and get a sooner appointment. No one ever answered the phone. Clearly my experience is not unique when I walked into the office and called just to see what was happening. I immediately saw them put the phone on hold, even though not a soul was in the office and not another person was on the line. The girl proceeded to say that they were very busy. She just left lunch and the other girl is now giggling behind the door with someone else yeah too busy to answer the phone crazy time to find where Dr. Jesus Pereda went to practice because this is not it.

My issue with not so much with Ms. Aguilar as with the practice. I visited the office as a new patient for a check up on 15 April, 2026. A biopsy was conducted on the top of my right arm. When the office called for the results of the biopsy some days later, I was advised to visit a surgeon to have the area excised. I made an appointment with a surgeon for 22 June 2026. In mid May, I called the surgeon's office to ensure they had the results of the biopsy so they would know what needed to be done. They did not have the information. I subsequently called your office to have the biopsy results send to me or to the surgeon. I called your office (Dermatology of Miami) at least a DOZEN times and the phone was never answered regardless of which department I requested. Each time I left a voice mail my name, dob, phone number and the request, but never received a call back. The only department that answered, mid last week, was billing where at my request, the agent agreed to send a note to the office manager. On Thursday, June 18, I checked again with the surgeon's office to see if they had received my information. They had not, so I cancelled today's appointment. This morning I had a call back from your office, made the request for the information which was sent to me via email. It is is unbelievable that despite all my calls no one in your office took that time to get back to me until today - almost a month after I made the 1st phone call.. Additionally in reading the documents, I see details of what was supposedly check on my initial visit. Please note that most of what is listed there was NOT done. I pointed out the areas I was concerned about (some small moles on my left clavicle area), the PA took at look at those, looked my arms and back and a cursory look at my nails. My chest, breasts, axillia and genitals were not examined, neither were conjunctivae and lids. I will not be returning to your practice and will not recommend.

Loved her! she was passionate and had a great bedside manner. I was kinda leery with her being so young but she proved me wrong and made me feel at ease.
